Sensation and Perception(Psych/Biopsych280, Winter 1998)
This course centers on visual and auditory phinomena. Aside from the basic sensory discriminations(acuity,brightness,loudness,color, and pitch), more complex perceptual events, such as movement and space, are discussed. The biological underpinnings of these several phenomena are considered, as well as the role of learning in percepion.
